Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30 -1:00pm)

Position Summary: Responsible for the HDM Program, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the HDM Program and all volunteers directly involved with the HDM program services

Essential Duties and responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following:

1. Perform initial assessments and reassessments as needed or required through home visits or by telephone as indicated.
2. Recruit and train volunteers to assist with daily activities at site and in delivery of meals.
3. Schedule Meal Delivery Routes and volunteers to cover scheduled meal delivery.
4. Promote and maintain active participation in HD Meal Program by community interface and actively following up referrals.
5. Generate requests for donations and collect donations for meals. Send proceeds and records of receipt to the Administrative Office as required.
6. Actively pursue Fundraising activities for your site AND South County Senior Services, Inc. by involving the community, businesses and other service agencies surrounding your site. Assist the Site Director with Special Events and Twilight functions.
   
   
   • Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel)
   • Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
   • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills

Secondary Duties and responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

1. Responsible for meal count and ordering on a daily basis in the absence of the Site Director.
2. Prepare Daily, Weekly and monthly reports as required, and forward to Administrative Office in the absence of the Site Director.
